Andres Carbacho-Burgos
Economist

Andres Carbacho-Burgos is an economist with Moody's Economy.com. He covers housing and state and regional economies, and writes frequently about inflation for Precis Macro and Consumer Flow from the company's West Chester PA office. Before joining Moody's Economy.com, he taught economics at Texas State University, where he also researched open-economy macroeconomics and income inequality. He obtained his Ph.D. and master's degrees in economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Carleton College.
