As of June 2012, Moody's Analytics Data Buffet offers an expanded national database, sourced from Latvijas Statistika (the Central Statistical Bureau, CSB).  It is part of two products, the Moody's Analytics Global Database and Europe Database. Please contact your sales representative for details.

Our initial economic sector coverage includes demographics, labor and wages, industry, regional accounts, real estate and trade. Latvia is part of the European Union (2004) but not the euro zone, and its national currency is the Latvia lat (ISO 4217: LVL). As an EU member it uses Eurostat's NUTS geography classification, ESA95 system of accounts, and NACE Rev. 2 economic activities classification. Its official language is Latvian, its time zone is UTC+2, and its Data Buffet national geo code is .ILVA.

The geography code patterns will help you create wild card basket retrievals; for example, to fetch total population for all six NUTS 3 areas, use VSQBTHA.ILVA_^^^. (There is one single-character basket wild card, the caret, but in the table, "a" indicates use of letters instead of digits.)
