Motivation: In its regional accounts presentation, the source reports gross value added with industry detail, for all NUTS 2 and 3 subnational areas; but annually, only in current prices, and with limited industrial detail.
Response: For international consistency, Moody's Analytics estimates the above indicators and areas; for a standard set of industries (20 NACE Rev.2 sections and aggregates thereof) and currency bases (nominal and real euros and U.S. dollars), and additional areas.
