As of October 2011, Moody's Analytics Data Buffet offers new estimates of national and subnational economic data for New Zealand. Economic sectors include demographics, income, labor and wages, national accounts, price, and real estate. All estimated series have a quarterly frequency. Start dates vary, but are as early as 1950. Geographically, we estimate for the nation, regions, and metropolitan areas; exact coverage at each level varies.

The subnational estimates dataset for New Zealand is part of the Moody's Analytics Global Database product.  Please contact your sales representative for details.

• To retrieve all available areas for an indicator, combine the concept code with the geo code wild card, e.g. RPOPQ.INZL_^^^^.
• The table shows that we have historical data for territorial authorities, but do not estimate at that level.
• Unfortunately, we did not design the geo codes to be particularly distinctive across geo levels; note that most of them consist of the prefix "INZL_" followed by four letters.
