The source attributes this to municipal changes effective 1 January 2018 (see related article). In response, we have archived series using the predecessor areas by marking their metadata as "discontinued."

The series reside in the historical catalog (Norway » Consumer » Sales turnover » Bimonthly divisions, SIC 2007, 45 to 47 | Quarterly) and include, for example:

We anticipate that the replacement county (50 Trøndelag) will be reported upon dissemination of 2018Q1 and January 2018 data on 21 June.

We compute supplements at the "group of counties" (NUTS 1-analogous) geo level, in NSA and SAAR terms. We have necessarily terminated the area that is the sum of the two terminated counties. For example:

• TNL47UQ.INOR_TR = Retail trade; except of motor vehicles and motorcycles [47], (Mil. NOK, NSA) - for Trøndelag [group of counties]
• TNL47AQ.INOR_TR = (Mil. NOK, SAAR)

Please be aware that

• Our extract contains wholesale and retail trade (sections 45, 46 and 47) at a bimonthly frequency, and retail trade only (section 47) at a quarterly frequency, which is calculated by Moody's Analytics using the bimonthly data.
• Although the frequency-specifier on the concept codes is "M", the bimonthly data have six values per year; alternating periods are "ND".
