As of July 2012, Moody's Analytics Data Buffet offers an expanded selection of subnational data for Denmark, from our national source, Danmarks Statistik (Statistics Denmark, DST). This is part of two products, the Moody's Analytics Global Database and Europe Database. Please contact your sales representative for details.

Economic sectors include demographics, income, national (regional) accounts, and real estate. Coverage varies, but certain data are available as often as monthly with geographical granularity to the municipality level.  Table 1 summarizes the new coverage, and table 2 the abbreviation for each geographical level. The Kingdom of Denmark (Kongeriget Danmark) is a member of the European Union (1973) but not the euro zone; its native currency is the Danish krone (plural: kroner), ISO 4217 DKK.  It uses the Eurostat NUTS geography standard, the ESA95 system of accounts, and the economic activities classification DB07 (based on NACE Rev. 2).  The official language is Danish and the time zone is UTC+1. The Data Buffet geo code is .IDNK.

Table 1. Summary of economic indicators. Series frequencies are annual, quarterly, or monthly (A, Q, M). Geographical levels are described in Table 2. All of the subnational indicators are also available at the national level (NL).
