Recently, official ISO 3166 codes have been assigned to the Balkan countries of Serbia and Montenegro. The pair constituted a remnant of Yugoslavia from 1992-2003, abolished that name in 2003, and separated from each other in June 2006.
We have replaced our previous temporary geo codes with the official codes. The series have not been aliased to the old codes. E.g., IDBVS%FRTUA.ISRB cannot be accessed by IDBVS%FRTUA.IXZS.
The geo code changes are:
Country Name |
Old Code |
New Code |
Montenegro |
IXZM |
IMNE |
Serbia |
IXZS |
ISRB |
The U.S. Census Bureau's International Database ( http://www.census.gov/ipc/www/idb/ ) contains annual socio-demographic indicators for over 200 countries, totaling nearly 27,000 time series. Selected series are forecasted to 2050.
