On December 15, the Moody's Economy.com® Fiserv Case-Shiller® Home Price Index Forecast (Current) underwent its December update, featuring Q2 2008 CSI data.

On December 17, the forecast Scenarios (Baseline plus four Alternatives) were updated for December.  (The Scenarios are now on a monthly update schedule -- see related post.)

On December 18, the state-level forecast Scenarios were updated again.  This was necessitated by changes in the U.S. macro scenarios.  The national, regional, metro and county forecast scenarios for CSI did not change.

Because of today's update, those users who have set up triggered baskets (email alerts) have been notified twice in two days concerning the update. We apologize for the confusion. What is now posted is the correct and final forecast for the month of December.
