Economic sector coverage includes demographics, income, labor and wages, national accounts, CPI, and real estate. Frequency and geo coverage varies with indicator; certain data are available as often as monthly with geographic granularity to the local municipality. Known officially as the Republic of South Africa, the time zone is UTC+2, tre are eleven official languages including English, and the national currency is the rand (ISO 4217: ZAR). It uses the Standard Industrial Classification Coding System (SIC). The Data Buffet national geo code is .IZAF.

For completeness, the table shows when indicator-classes are available at the national level (NL). There is only one basket wild card for single characters, the caret (^), but patterns of "a" and "n" indicate those geo codes use letters and digits.
