In a direct communication, the source confirmed:
Definitions of construction forms were changed in 2018 and since then they have been permanent.
In response, we have:
- Archived the predecessors ("other", as early as 2007m4 to 2018m12) by marking the metadata and catalog entries as "discontinued".
- Created replacements (for rent, municipal, public building society, company), starting 2019m1, with standardized mnemonics.
- Refurbished the mnemonics of existing series. For backwards compatibility, we have preserved the prior mnemonics as aliases.
Active dataset properties:
- Measurement: Unitary count of dwellings (#)
- Adjustment: Not seasonally adjusted (NSA)
- Do all stage-owner combinations exist? No
- Geo coverage: Country
- Native frequency: Monthly
- Start date: January 2019
The series reside in the historical catalog (Poland » Real Estate » Residential » Stage of construction » Permits | Starts | Completions) and include, for example:
- HSQPMTRPRUM.IPOL = Real estate: Residential - Permits granted - Private, (#, NSA)
- HSQSTRRRNUM.IPOL = Construction begun - For rent, (#, NSA)
- HSQCMPRTUM.IPOL = Dwellings completed - Total, (#, NSA)
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
