What is the motivation?
Eurostat has provided updated metropolitan area definitions according to NUTS 2013 from NUTS 2010. We have updated the Czech Republic metropolitan area estimates to follow the latest definitions.
Which Moody's Analytics estimated releases for Czech Republic were impacted?
- Population by broad age bracket
- Employment by industry
- Compensation
- Household disposable income
- Gross value added by industry (GVA)
- Retail sales
What did and did not change among the estimates?
Concept codes... are unchanged.
The corpus of series... We have added the new metropolitan area Liberec (ICZE_MLIB).
Values in surviving series (that is, those using unchanged geo codes)... May have been revised because of revisions to historical data.
Start dates... Within a release, are unchanged; that is, the new series have the same length of history as surviving series. Across the six impacted releases, start dates vary.
Methodologies... are unchanged.
