Motivation: The General Statistics Office of Vietnam reports limited detail in the expenditure approach to gross domestic product (a.k.a. "use of GDP" or "GDP(E)"). The dataset is annual, in current and constant prices, and omits some components.

Response: For international consistency, we have estimated the expenditure approach, with all components, quarterly, at both current and constant prices.

Properties:

• Measurement: Billions of current (Bil. VND) or constant year-2010 (Bil. 2010 VND) Vietnamese dong, at a seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR)
• Frequency: Quarterly

• Additivity: Aggregates equal the sums of their respective components. Trade balance is the difference between exports and imports.
