The CPPI is a joint project of Statistics Portugal and Banco de Portugal. A commercial property is defined as an urban property consisting of a building or licensed construction for commercial purposes It is derived using anonymized fiscal administrative information provided by the Tax and Customs Authority (AT). It uses a hedonic price model, i.e., it controls for changes in the quality of the properties.
The measurement is a chained index relative to 2015 (Index 2015=100). The series starts at 2009.
The series resides in the historical catalog (Portugal » Real Estate » Non-residential » Price index) and is:
