The Republic of Buryatia and the Transbaikal region have been transferred from the Siberian federal district to the Far Eastern federal district. In response, we have declared two new geo codes.

This impacts the subnational population dataset. In response, we have:

1. Terminated two series (1990 to 2017).
2. Created one-for-one replacements, which start at 2018.
3. Added two other reported regions: ARK and TYU.
