The changes are:

• Added one series, to facilitate additivity verification.
• Discontinued five series (1971 to 2014), for Northern Ireland.
• Altered the "observed" attribute for 16 series, from AVERAGE to END.

These series are annual, but the measurement point of the housing census has changed repeatedly (see Mnemonic 411; full details are footnoted in the source's data files). An "observed" attribute of END makes the most sense, but even so, conversion to a higher frequency (i.e., disaggregation) may produce strange results.

The series reside in the historical catalog (United Kingdom » Real Estate » Residential » Dwelling stock » by Tenure) and include, for example:
