The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis wrote (BEA 19-36):

The estimates released today reflect the results of the annual update of the national income and product accounts (NIPAs) in conjunction with the "advance" estimate of GDP for the second quarter of 2019. The update covers the first quarter of 2014 through the first quarter of 2019.

We implemented the revisions in Data Buffet via these steps:

1. Archived all pre-benchmark data under new names, for example, GDP_2018.IUSA.
• If when retrieving archived series you receive the message "Series found: database closed" you will need to activate databank NIPA_2018.db, under menu:Settings » Default Databanks (see related article).
2. Revised existing series, e.g., GDP.IUSA:
• All quarterly series from 2014Q1
• All annual series from 2014
