The source notes (citation):
That is:
Changes as of September 21, 2018: The government debt (EMU) has been adjusted for the years and quarters of 2004 to 2017 and the first quarter of 2018. Part of the central government debt was seen as a debt to institutions outside the government, while debt to institutions within the central government is involved. Debts to institutions within the government do not count in the consolidated government debt. As a result of the correction, the level of government debt and the central government debt are lower.
In response, we have synchronized Data Buffet.
The series reside in the historical catalog (Netherlands » Government » Government Finance » Quarterly, from 1999) and include, for example:
- GVLCGVDUQ.INLD = Government finance: Central government - Debt [EMU], (Mil. EUR, NSA)
- GVLCCHDUQ.INLD = Change in debt [EMU] - Total, (Mil. EUR, NSA)
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
