Motivation: Our pertinent national source, the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT), has recently performed a five-year benchmark revision to quarterly national accounts and advanced the currency reference year from 2010 to 2015.
Response: We have propagated the national revisions across the subnational areas. This applies to all currencies (EUR, EUR at common reference year, and USD) and at current and chained prices.
What you will see: All periods are revised, from 1995Q1, for all concepts. Because Italy is a member of the euro zone, the current-priced NCU- and EUR-valued subsets are equal. The unit-descriptor metadata has changed.
The series reside in the historical catalog :
Method: Unchanged. Please refer to the background documentation in Mnemonic 411.
