Motivation:Our pertinent national source, the Morocco High Commission for Planning, reports a monthly consumer price index, but only from 2007 and only in not seasonally adjusted (NSA) terms.
Response: For analytical convenience we extended the series by 50 years using IMF data, then created a seasonally adjusted (SA) counterpart.
Properties: Apart from the adjustment, same as the fundamental. Expect our SA series to be revised with each update to the NSA fundamental. Augmented and supplemental series of this kind are identified by secondary source citations of "Moody's Analytics Estimated" and "Moody's Analytics Adjusted", respectively.
