In a direct communication, the source explained:
Unadjusted quarterly accounts are only revised back as far as no detailed annual National Accounts data are available (data for 2018 will be published in September 2019, the preliminary data currently available for 2018 are compiled by the aggregation of the four quarters of quarterly National Accounts). This means for 2019Q2 that 2018Q1 - 2019Q1 have been revised. In contrast, according to model-based calculations, the whole time series for adjusted quarterly National Accounts is revised when a new quarter is available.
In response, we have:
- Synchronized the 103 (out of 106) historical verbatim series (1995Q1 or 1996Q1 to 2018Q4).
- Not appended a notation to the series metadata, because this is not a definitional break.
The series reside in the historical catalog (Austria » National Accounts » By expenditure | By value add) and include, for example:
- NACEEXCQ.IAUT = By Expenditure - Exports, (Mil. 2010 EUR, WDASA)
- NALEGDPUQ.IAUT = By Expenditure - Gross Domestic Product, (Mil. EUR, NSA)
- NALSGVAAFCQ.IAUT = By Production - Gross Value Added - Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing [A], (Mil. EUR, WDASA)
- NACSTOPUQ.IAUT = By Production - Taxes on Products, (Mil. 2010 EUR, NSA)
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
