That is:
With this publication, the base year is changed from 2010 = 100 to 2015 = 100. It happens now due to requirements from Eurostat.
In response, we have:
- Archived the predecessors (base year 2010, from January 2000 to February 2018) by renaming with an "_10" specifier, by marking metadata as "discontinued", and by segregating in the catalog.
- Created one-for-one replacements (base year 2015).
- Added the remaining reported activities.
- Assigned standardized mnemonics.
Properties of the replacement series are:
- Activity classification is DB07, the national adaptation of NACE Rev. 2.
- Index base period is 2015.
- Analytic forms are value index (Index) or volume index (Vol. Index), seasonally adjusted (SA) or not (NSA).
- Start date is January 2000 (unchanged).
The series reside in the historical catalog (Denmark » Consumer » Retail sales index) and include, for example:
- WRIRONS_10UM.IDNK = [DISCONTINUED] Retail Sales Index: Total Retail, (Index 2010=100, NSA)
- WRI47UM.IDNK = Retail sales index: Total retail [47], (Index 2015=100, NSA)
- WRI47522UM.IDNK = DIY centres and tool stores [47522]
- WRJRCLFLAM.IDNK = Clothing etc., (Vol. Index 2015=100, SA)
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.

Note that the data table carries a notation about the change in base period, but at time of writing, it's the outdated notice from five years ago.
