In response, we have:

1. Archived the predecessors (2012=100, 2012m1 to 2019m7) by renaming with an "_12" specifier, marking metadata as "discontinued", and segregating in the catalog.
2. Created one-for-one replacements (2018=100).
3. Transplanted the global concept alias.
4. Re-extended the all-items index.
5. Replaced our seasonally adjusted supplement.

Properties that changed:

• Index base year: From 2012 to 2018
• As-reported start date: From 2012m1 to 2019m8
• Extended start date, where applicable: No change (1970m1)
