New Data: Chile - Household disposable income - SA
Thursday, 19 Sep 2019 13:24 ET
By Richard Grim
Summary
September 2019 -- For gross disposable income of households for Chile, Moody's Analytics now computes a seasonally adjusted counterpart (one new quarterly series from 2003).
Detail

Motivation: Our pertinent national source, the Central Bank of Chile, reports gross disposable income for households in Chile as part of the sector accounts, but only in not seasonally adjusted (NSA) terms.

Response: For analytical consistency we have created a seasonally adjusted counterpart.

Properties: Expect our SA series to be revised with each updated to the NSA series. Supplemental series of this kind are identified by a secondary source citation of "Moody's Analytics Adjusted".

  • Measurement: Billions of constant year-2013 Chilean pesos (Bil. 2013 CLP)
  • Adjustment: Seasonally adjusted (SA)
  • Geo coverage: Country
  • Native frequency: Quarterly
  • Start date: 2003Q1

The series resides in the historical catalog (Chile » National Accounts » By Institutional Sector) and is:

  • NALNZHNYDGAQ.ICHL = Sector accounts: Households and NPISHs - Gross disposable income, (Bil. 2013 CLP, SA)

Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
