On January 1, 2011 Estonia became the 17th country to adopt the euro.  The statistical office of the EU, Eurostat, has started to incorporate the expanded euro area into its datasets.  In Data Buffet, we represent the euro area with either the geo code IEZ17 (for a fixed set of 17 countries) or with IEUZN (for the mutable composition).
