New Data: Slovenia - Problem Loans by Industry
Monday, 22 Sep 2014 15:10 ET
By Jay Lynch
Summary
August 2014 -- The Bank of Slovenia reports the share of bank claims by activity which are overdue by more than 90 days (13 new monthly series, from 2009).
Detail

The Bank of Slovenia reports the quality of bank assets by type of activity for non-financial firms. Figures are reported in percentage (%) of loans outstanding that are overdue by 90 days or more, not seasonally adjusted (NSA). The series start as early as December 2009.

The series reside in the historical catalog (Slovenia » Banking » Delinquent Loans) and include, for example:

  • MB%AD90NFAGSUM.ISVN = Delinquent loans made for agriculture; forestry and fishing; mining and quarrying
  • MB%AD90NFMFSUM.ISVN = Manufacturing
  • MB%AD90CNSUM.ISVN = Construction

Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.

We have taken this opportunity to standardize our mnemonics for the full Quality of Bank Assets dataset, impacting 34 of the 48 series. Please see the attached concordance. Our standardized mnemonics are intended to facilitate cross-country and subnational retrieval using basket wild card expressions.
