New Estimates: Thailand - GVA by industry

Summary
February 2020 -- Moody's Analytics now estimates gross value added by industry, at current and chained prices, for Thailand and its capital, Bangkok (108 new quarterly series from 1993).
Detail

Motivation: Our pertinent national source, the National Economic and Social Development Board (of Thailand), reports seasonally adjusted gross value added, quarterly, for 20 industries, but for Thailand only. NESDB also reports GVA for Bangkok, but annual, and for 19 industries.

Response: For international consistency, Moody's Analytics now estimates GVA for 20 industry branches plus standard aggregates, for both Thailand and Bangkok, at a quarterly frequency.
