Motivation: The national source performs benchmark revisions to its labor force survey data but does not revise their full history.
Response: For international consistency, we have estimated the labor force quartet (labor force, employment, unemployment and unemployment rate) at a quarterly frequency with an extended history in not seasonally adjusted (NSA) terms.
Properties: All four estimated series start at 2000Q1. Figures are thousands of individuals (Ths. #) or percent (%), not seasonally adjusted (NSA). Expect the series to be revised with each update of the historical series.
The estimates reside in the historical catalog (Turkey » Labor and Wages » Labor force survey » by Status » Quarterly » Moody's Analytics Estimates) and are:

- XRLBEQ.ITUR = Employment, (Ths. #)
