In response, we have:
- Archived the predecessors (GFS 2001, October 2001 to January 2017) by renaming with a "_V01" specifier, marking the metadata as "discontinued", and segregating in the catalog.
- Created one-for-one replacements (GFS 2014, from October 2012).
- Extended history over interval 1991 to 2011.
- Computed balance (revenue less expenditure).
- Created seasonally adjusted supplements.
Dataset properties:
- Figures: Millions of Thai baht (Mil. THB)
- Adjustment: Not seasonally adjusted (NSA)
- Native frequency: Monthly
- Start date: As early as October 2012
The series reside in the historical catalog (Thailand » Government » Finances) and are:
- GVLREV_V01UM.ITHA = [DISCONTINUED] National Government Finance: Consolidated Central Government - Revenue (Mil. THB, NSA)
- GVLEXP_V01UM.ITHA = [DISCONTINUED] Expenditures
- GVLBGB_V01UM.ITHA = [DISCONTINUED] Balance
- GVLCREVUM.ITHA = Government finance: Central government - Revenue
- GVLCEXTUM.ITHA = Expenditure
- GVLCNLBUM.ITHA = Net lending [+] / net borrowing [-]
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
Please be aware that
For the "Government Finance Statistics" framework promulgated by IMF, "GFS" is the standard, but "GFSM" is the written manual.
The Thai government fiscal year runs from October to September.
