On 7 September, the source wrote in "Adjustments to the GFS Model" (citation):
As part of the changeover to the GFSM 2014, the first phase of the methodological reconciliation with the system of national accounts of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) was completed. The previously shown GFS Model data (balance sheet stocks and non-financial transactions) was reconciled with the system of national accounts with the publication of September 7, 2017.
In response, we have:
- Discontinued 25 predecessor series (as early as 1991 to 2017) by renaming with an "_17" specifier, marking their metadata as "discontinued", and segregating in the catalog
- Created 25 one-for-one replacement series, starting in 1991
Active dataset properties:
- Measurements: Millions of Swiss francs (Mil. CHF), percentage (%)
- Adjustment: Implicitly not seasonally adjusted (NSA)
- Native frequency: Annual
- Start date: 1991
- Subject to revision: Yes
The active series reside in the historical catalog (Switzerland » Government » Public Sector Finances » Revenue | Expenditure | Debt | Balance) and include, for example:
- GV%CDGRJUA.ICHE = Confederation - Gross debt ratio - Projection, (%)
- GVLCREVJUA.ICHE = Confederation - Revenue - Projection, (Mil. CHF)
- GVLTREVJUA.ICHE = Social security schemes - Revenue - Projection, (Mil. CHF)
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
