New Estimates: South Korea - Household income
Wednesday, 26 Sep 2018 13:56 ET
By Kelli Johnson
Summary
June 2016 -- Moody's Analytics now estimates disposable income for the household institutional sector for South Korea (one new quarterly series from 1975).
Detail

Motivation: The national source reports disposable income for the "households and NPISHs" institutional sector, from 1975, but only at a low frequency (annual).

Response: For international consistency, Moody's Analytics has estimated this metric at a quarterly frequency.

Properties:

  • Measurement: Millions of South Korean won (Mil. KRW)
  • Adjustment: Seasonally adjusted annualized rate (SAAR)
  • Frequency: Quarterly
  • Start date: 1975Q1

The series resides in the historical catalog (South Korea » Income » Moody's Analytics Adjusted) and is:

  • RYPDPIQ.IKOR = Disposable income of households including NPISHs - Net of consumption of fixed capital, (Mil. KRW, SAAR)

Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
