On 13 June, the source wrote (citation (pdf)):

The National Accounts (NA) carries out a benchmark revision every five years concerning annual input sources, methods and calculation models in a number of areas [...] On 13 September updated time series will be disseminated for the years 1993-2017 and for the quarters 1993q1-2019q2. Time series for the period before 1993 will be disseminated later.

In response, we have:

1. Archived the predecessors (pre-benchmark, 1980Q1 to 2019Q2) by renaming with an "_19" specifier, marking as “discontinued” in their description metadata, and segregating in the catalog.
2. Created one-to-one replacement series (post-benchmark).
3. Synchronized our SA supplements.

The start date has changed from 1980Q1 to 1994Q1. Properties are otherwise unchanged (see background in Mnemonic 411).
