In response, we have:

1. Archived the predecessors (2016=100, 1951m9 to 2018m12) by renaming with an "_16" specifier, by marking metadata as discontinued, and by segregating in the catalog.
2. Created one-for-one replacements, which have unchanged start dates.
3. Extended the SA general index (1951m9 to 1999m12).
4. Transplanted the global concept alias CPI.IISR.

Dataset properties:

• Measurement: Fixed-base value index relative to 2018 (Index 2018=100)
• Adjustment: Seasonally adjusted (SA) or not (NSA)
• Native frequency: Monthly
• Start dates: 1951m9, 1983m1, 2000m1, or 2007m1

The series reside in the historical catalog (Israel » Price » Consumer price index » 2018=100) and include, for example:

• CPITT_16UM.IISR = [DISCONTINUED] General index [incl. VAT], (Index 2016=100, NSA)
• CPITTUM.IISR    = General index [incl. VAT], (Index 2018=100, NSA)
• CPIXHOSAM.IISR  = General index excl. housing [incl. VAT], (Index 2018=100, SA)
