"Mortgage bonds" are a key part of the Danish system of residential mortgage loans, which differs markedly from the U.S. system.
Changes by the source:
- Frequency: Monthly to quarterly.
- Breadth: Reduced. The "by investor sector" subset has been entirely dropped.
Only seven series have been transitioned to the new quarterly dataset; there is one additional series that consolidates three previous loan terms.
The discontinued series (column 1, in blue) end at February 2010, while the various start dates are listed in New Data - Outstanding Mortgage Bonds article. The new series (column 2, in red) start at 2008Q1. The symbol "***" denotes the absence of a corresponding series.
UPDATE: February 2017 -- The discontinued monthly series have been renamed with an "_10" specifier.
