From 2018 on, the calculation of indices is made on the 2015 base year.

In response, we have:

1. Archived the predecessors (base period 2010, 2000Q1 to 2017Q4) by renaming with an "_10" specifier, by marking metadata as discontinued, and by segregating in the catalog.
2. Created one-for-one replacements (base period 2015) with an unchanged start date. Aside from the rebasing, properties are unchanged.
3. Assigned standardized mnemonics (see attachment).
4. Refurbished the catalog layout.

The active series reside in the historical catalog (Slovenia » Real Estate » Construction » Construction cost index » 2015=100) and the predecessors under the associated "discontinued" nodes. They include, for example:

• HSICCTNR_10UQ.ISVN = [DISCONTINUED] Construction cost index: Total costs - New - Residential buildings, (Index 2010=100, NSA)
• HSICCTNRUQ.ISVN    = Total costs - New - Residential buildings, (Index 2015=100, NSA)
• HSICCMNRUQ.ISVN    = Material costs
• HSICCLNRUQ.ISVN    = Labor costs

Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
