The source's press release does not specifically mention the rebasing, but the chart captions have changed (aside from the revision of bulk data).
In response, we have archived the predecessors (2010=100, January 2008 to December 2017) by renaming (with the specifier of "_10"), by marking metadata as "discontinued", and by segregating in the catalog. The one-for-one replacements (2015=100) start as early as January 2014. There are two presentations: not seasonally adjusted (NSA) or working day adjusted and seasonally adjusted (WDASA). The classification is TEÁOR 08, the national adaptation of NACE Rev. 2, with scope of sections B to D.
The series reside in our historical catalog (Hungary » Industry » Industrial production index) and include, for example:
- IPIID_10UM.IHUN = [DISCONTINUED] Industrial production index: Industrial gross output, (Vol. Index 2010=100, NSA)
- IPJIDCM.IHUN = Industrial gross output, (Vol. Index 2015=100, WDASA)
- IPJMFJCM.IHUN = Manufacture of electrical equipment, (Vol. Index 2015=100, WDASA)

Please be aware that
By definition, industrial production indexes are volume indexes, i.e., they are adjusted to eliminate the effect of price changes. As such, our concept codes for the replacements have the pattern IPJ?M rather than IPI?M, where "J" denotes "volume index".
Because we have standardized the mnemonics of the replacement series, you will need to recompile your legacy retrievals.
The source reports a "gross output" indicator in addition to "industry excl. water and waste management [B to D]" total.
The source produces a corresponding moving-base (CPPY) subset for industrial production, and parallel indexes for new orders and stock of orders (unfilled orders). These have not been replaced, but we have standardized their mnemonics for consistency. A concordance is attached. We have also moved the latter two subsets to separate nodes in the catalog, for clarity.
