In a direct communication, the source explained:
[...] there was a slight revision to the May 2018 data, which was due to a revision in the May location information on some individuals in the sample. The overall job finding rate for May did not change, but the regional demographics for every variable did change slightly, and only for May 2018. As a result the job finding rate for the Midwest is slightly higher now, with the corrected regions, than it was when previously reported.
In response, we have synchronized our extract for the period May 2018. Properties are otherwise unchanged.
The series reside in the historical catalog (United States » Consumer » Survey of Consumer Expectations) and include, for example:
- CI%CSDLQEF3MUM.CWER = Consumer expectation survey: Delinquency expectation - Mean probability of missing minimum debt payment over the next three months, (%, NSA) - for West census region
- CI%CSJBFEINVF3MUM.CNCR = Job finding expectations - Mean probability of finding a job in the next three months if one loses a job today - for Midwest census region
- CI%CSEARUF1YUM.CSOR = Earnings growth uncertainty - Median uncertainty - for South census region
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
