The source has implemented the IMF Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual, Sixth Edition. In response, we have archived the predecessors (BPM5, 1999Q1 to 2012Q4) by renaming with an "_B5" specifier (and otherwise standardizing the concept codes), by marking metadata as "discontinued," and by segregating in the catalog. The replacements (BPM6) start at 2012Q4. Figures are millions of U.S. dollars (Mil. USD) not seasonally adjusted (NSA).

The active series reside in the historical catalog (Uruguay » Trade » Balance of Payments » BPM6) and the archived BPM5 series under the adjacent "discontinued" node. They include, for example:

Please be aware that:

• The BPM5 series were originally reported to 2017Q1, but were truncated by the source to 2012Q4 upon production of the BPM6 replacements in 2017. We have synchronized our extract to the shorter history.
