In January 2019 the index base year was changed from 2010=100 to 2015=100. This applies to all historic and future indices. Therefore, the level of the historic indices have changed but the percentage changes remain the same, when you take into account the difference in rounding of indices.
In response, we have:
- Archived the predecessors (2010=100, January 1981 to December 2018) by renaming with an "_10" specifier, marking metadata as "discontinued", and segregating in the catalog.
- Created one-for-one replacements (2015=100) with an unchanged start date.
- Replaced our seasonally adjusted supplement to the headline series.
- Refurbished the catalog.

Please be aware that
This dataset measures a combination of prices on imported commodities and on Danish goods sold in the domestic market, i.e., the prices of inputs to Danish producers. As such it is not a PPI per the Eurostat definition, which would measure the price of Danish goods sold in the domestic and export markets.
