Motivation: In June, Statistics Netherlands implemented new statistical sources and estimation methods in their national accounts data, impacting the sector account for households (see related article).
Response: For our quarterly estimates of household disposable income for Netherlands, we have synchronized to match the source.
What you will see: All periods revised, from 1995Q1 for all variants (NCU-, euro-, and dollar-valued). Properties are otherwise unchanged.
The estimates reside in the historical catalog (Netherlands » Income » Moody's Analytics Estimated » Household Net Disposable Income) and are:
- RYPDPIQ.INLD = Household Income: Disposable Income of Households - Net of consumption of fixed capital, (Mil. EUR, SAAR)
- RYPDPIEURQ.INLD = in Mil. EUR
- RYPDPIUSDQ.INLD = in Mil. USD
Because catalog locations are subject to change, the upper-right search box on DataBuffet.com provides a "find in catalog" mode that accepts a mnemonic.
Please be aware that
We produce three sets of estimates for household disposable income: national currency, euros, and U.S. dollars. Even if the first two are identical (because the country is part of the euro zone), we produce both series for cross-national consistency.
