Motivation: In June, Statistics Netherlands redefined their quarterly national accounts, including the branch account for employment by NACE activity (industry).

Response: For our quarterly estimates of employment by activity for Netherlands, and its subnational areas, we have synchronized to match the source.

What you will see: All periods revised, starting at 1996Q1 and 1995Q1 for the all-industries total at the national and subnational geo levels, respectively. Properties are otherwise unchanged.

The estimates reside in the historical catalog (Netherlands » Labor and Wages » Employment by industry » Moody's Analytics Estimated) and include, for example:

• RETOTQ.INLD    = Employment - Total, (Ths. #, SA)
• RETERQ.INLD    = Tertiary industries
• REREQ.INLD     = Real estate activities
• REAFQ.INLD_TWE = Agriculture; forestry and fishing - for NUTS 3 Twente
• REWARQ.INLD_LI = Warehouse-using industries - for NUTS 2 Limburg
