There are two changes to our extract:

• The source has changed the series it reports, by combining 16 individual NUTS 2 areas into seven aggregates (for concordance, see related article).
• The source has terminated one activity branch (agriculture, forestry, and fishing) at all geo levels.

In response, we have archived the predecessors (individual areas, 2004 to 2012; series pertaining to agriculture, forestry, and fishing, 2004 to 2012) by marking metadata as "discontinued." The replacements start at 2013. Otherwise, dataset properties are unchanged: figures are euros (EUR) or thousands of hours (Ths. Hours).

The dataset resides in the historical catalog (France » Labor and Wages » Wages » Average hourly wages | Salaried hours) and include, for example:
