Previously, for these components (gross domestic product in agriculture, industry and services) we harvested the NSA series and calculated SAAR versions.
We have made these changes:
- For total GDP(O) and its A*3 aggregates, we are now able to obtain seasonally adjusted series directly from the source (four series). This manifests as a revision.
- We extended the series by 17 years.
- For the remaining SA supplements in the dataset, to be consistent with the source, we have changed their analytic form from seasonally adjusted at an annual rate (SAAR) to a quarterly rate (50 series). This manifests as a revision and change to unit-descriptor metadata.

1. The four SA series that we now republish verbatim are:
- NACSGDPAQ.IPHL = National accounts: Production approach - Gross domestic product [GDP], (Mil. 2000 PHP, SA)
- NACSGDPAFAQ.IPHL = GDP - Agriculture; hunting; forestry; fishing
- NACSGDPIDAQ.IPHL = GDP - Industry sector
- NACSGDPSVAQ.IPHL = GDP - Service sector
2. For the A*3 components (NACSGDPAFAQ.IPHL, NACSGDPIDAQ.IPHL, NACSGDPSVAQ.IPHL) we extend over the interval 1981Q1 to 1997Q4 by adjusting the NSA versions using the U.S. Census Bureau's X-13 ARIMA program. For total GDP (NACSGDPAQ.IPHL) we calculate as an identity, viz., the sum of those three series. The series carry a secondary source citation of "Moody's Analytics Calculated [Prior to 1998Q1]".
3. The 50 supplements (secondary source citation: "Moody's Analytics Adjusted") that we altered from SAAR to SA are as follows. The reduction is by 75%.
