The West Chester office and Data Buffet operations will resume on Monday, April 17. The Prague office will close at 3:00 p.m. CET on Thursday, April 13 and will remain closed on Monday. The Sydney office will be closed on Friday and Monday.
We will strive to ensure that all key data updates (U.S. and international) are processed during this period. Due to the holiday some releases ordinarily scheduled will not be updated by their respective sources, being either postponed or omitted. LiveHelp! support will be unavailable during each office closure. Instead, please email questions to [email protected]. DataBuffet.com and related web sites will remain available for your self-service use.
Self-service tips
Do you have a question about a time series -- its units, definition, schedule or news items? Check Mnemonic 411 first! (See also: introductory FAQ.) Among other features, Mnemonic 411 provides series-specific release calendars with optional notes. One way to access this resource is by using the search-cluster in the upper-right corner of the web site (not the box on the left-hand Search tab): Enter the mnemonic, select "Mnemonic 411" from the adjacent dropdown box, then press "go." In the resulting pop-up window, switch to the "Calendar" tab.
By attaching a "schedule and delivery" to a basket, it will run and transmit its output on a fixed schedule or upon changes to one or more trigger series. To configure, use the "Schedules" button in the basket editor and follow the prompts. (See also: automated retrievals.)
