The National Accounts (NA) carries out a benchmark revision every five years concerning annual input sources, methods and calculation models in a number of areas [...] On 13 September updated time series will be disseminated for the years 1993-2017 and for the quarters 1993q1-2019q2. Time series for the period before 1993 will be disseminated later.

In response, we have:

1. Archived the predecessors (pre-benchmark, 1981Q1 to 2019Q1) by renaming with an "_19" specifier, marking as “discontinued” in description metadata, and segregating in the catalog.
2. Where possible, created one-to-one replacement series (post-benchmark, from 1993Q1).
