The Statistical Service announces the revision of National Accounts for the years 2016-2017. [...] The revision for 2016 is due to the incorporation of the data of the annual economic surveys, while for 2017 it is due to the revision of the short-term economic indicators. Furthermore, a rebase of the reference year (2010 from 2005) was carried out for the production of volume measures, as well as the application of the non-additivity approach in the chain-linking method for the time series 1995-2017.
In response, there will be a delay while we adjust our Data Buffet extract. The previously-reported data (reference year 2005 and parallel nominal measures) will be archived for purposes of comparison.
In response, we have:
- Archived the predecessors (currency reference year 2005, both nominal and real subsets) by renaming with an "_05" specifier, marking metadata as discontinued, and segregating in the catalog.
- Created replacements (reference 2010).
- Assigned standardized mnemonics where necessary.
- Refurbished the catalog.
Active dataset properties:
- Framework: ESA 2010
- Activity classification: NACE Rev. 2
- Measurements:
- Euros at current prices (EUR), euros at chained year-2010 prices (Ch. 2010 EUR), millions thereof (Mil. EUR), etc.
- Year-over-year percent change at current prices (% Y/Y) or "% annual change at volume measures" (Vol. 2010 % Y/Y)
- Thousands of persons (Ths. #)
- Adjustment: Not seasonally adjusted (NSA) or calendar day adjusted and seasonally adjusted (CDASA)
- Native frequency: Quarterly
- Start dates: 1995Q1 or 1996Q1
- Subject to revisions: Yes
The series reside in the historical catalog (Cyprus » National accounts » By expenditure | By value add » Quarterly » Ref 2010) and the predecessors under the associated (Ref 2005) nodes.

Please be aware that
Although GDP(E) has four subsets (nominal/real and NSA/CDASA) they are not fully parallel. Some GFCF categories and components in the "changes in inventories" group have been suppressed.
Similarly, in GDP(O), nominal has separate "taxes on products" and "subsidies on products", but real has a combined "taxes less subsidies" item.
For mnemonics of the real series, the third letter is now "H" instead of "C", to indicate that the inflation adjustment method is chained prices rather than constant prices.
