Motivation: Our national source, the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, reports subnational labor force status at a quarterly frequency, for the country, eight regions, and two metropolitan areas; but in not seasonally adjusted (NSA) terms and with limited history (from 2009).
Response: For international consistency, we have estimated the labor force status quartet, for select areas, seasonally adjusted, with extended history (by 12 years).
