Motivation: The source, the National Bank of Poland, reports current account balance with a start date of January 2004. Previously, we extended this series from January 2000 to December 2010. 

Response:

1. Re-extended the reported balance of payments series prior to January 2004 using its predecessor
2. Recomputed our seasonally adjusted supplement

What you will see:

1. Current account balance NSA is revised over January 2000 to December 2003
2. Current account balance SA is revised over all periods
3. Updated metadata to reflect the changes

Method: 

1. Extend the reported NSA current account balance backwards to January 2000 using the growth rates of its predecessor
2. Adjust the extended NSA series using the U.S. Census Bureau's X-13 ARIMA program.
