Figures are indexed to 2015=100. The component structure-types are reported in not seasonally adjusted terms (NSA), and the total in both NSA and SA terms. The NSA and SA series start at 1992Q1 and 2005Q1, respectively. Geo coverage is 11 regions in Norway, including four NUTS 2 areas and eight specialized real estate regions.
The series reside in the historical catalog (Norway » Real Estate » Residential » Prices » Price index » 2015) and include, for example:
- HPIXTOTAQ.INOR_HO = House price index: Existing - All dwellings, (2015=100, SA) - for NUTS 2 Hedmark and Oppland
- HPIXHOUUQ.INOR_AR_ST = Detached houses, (2015=100, NSA) - for Stavanger
- HPIXROWUQ.INOR_NN = Row houses - for NUTS 2 Nord-Norge
- HPIXAPTUQ.INOR_TR_OT = Multi-dwelling - for Trøndelag excl. Trondheim

Norway is not a part of the EU, and is not required to follow Eurostat standards, so its standard geographies are "NUTS-equivalent" areas.
This dataset is reported using specialized real estate regions, some of which align with NUTS 2-equivalent areas, but most not. The notion is "major city" and "remainder of NUTS 2 area." Hence, we have defined new geo codes.
