Rebasing of the Producer Price Index to the Base Year 2015
The Bank of Korea begins to release the 2015 base PPI from May 21, 2019 ("Producer Price Index during April 2019").
In response, we have:
- Archived the predecessors (2010=100, 1965m1 to 2019m3) by renaming with an "_10" specifier, marking metadata as discontinued, and segregating in the catalog.
- Created one-for-one replacements at the upper levels of granularity, which have an unchanged start date.
- We have not replaced the more granular levels or intermediate aggregates.
- Replaced our seasonal adjusted (SA) supplement for the all-items index.
- Refurbished the catalog.

- Classification: KSIC Rev. 10, an adaptation of UN ISIC Rev. 4
- Measurements: Fixed-base value index relative to 2015 (Index 2015=100)

A "producer price index" measures the prices set by producers when selling, either to domestic or export markets. Conversely, the "domestic supply price index" measures the prices paid by domestic producers for inputs, whether domestic and imported.
We have improved the "stage of processing, 2010=100" extract, as follows. If you have a legacy basket or other retrievals, existing references will now return "series not found" errors.
