Motivation: Our national source, Statistics Korea, reports employment by industry at a monthly frequency, but with limited history (starting at June 2013), and with inconsistent industry coverage (21 individual industries for the country, but seven aggregates for subnational areas).
Response: For international and subnational consistency, Moody's Analytics now estimates employment by industry, at a quarterly frequency, with extended history, for the same 21 industries for all geos, plus our industry aggregates (retail, warehouse-using, office-using).
